Design and develop applications to meet a set of system requirements, from the user interface to the backend logic and integration with DB2 functions. Provide technical support for existing applications. Perform code promotion between development and test environment, maintain testing environment. Execute tasks relating to Build/Packaging and must be able to install, service, and maintain a driver for development, test or service and understand packaging issues. Shall also responsible to create/install code. Should have creative problem solving and strong communication skills (verbal and written) . Ability to work independently and as a team player. Should be able to communicate directly with the end users and manage the expectations. Pleasant personality and positive attitude. Requirements: At least 3+ years of relevant work experience in developing WebSphere, WebSphere Portal, Web Services, Java and J2EE applications. Expert skills in J2EE development, WebSphere Portal Server and portlet development. Intermediate administration skills for WAS , WPS and DB2.
