Nexpa System Co., Ltd. Singapore Branch Office is looking for candidates for the following positions:

Field Support Engineer II /Presales Engineer (mid level engineer)
Prequalification: Singapore PR or Citizen

Main Tasks:

The Field Support Engineer is responsible for providing the first level technical support and expertise to the customers and our partners during the solution deployment and maintenance services.
Plan and deliver PoCs (Proof of concepts) and demonstrations
Provide field OJT and hands-on training to the partner engineers
Along with the partners, help install network, servers, camera sensors and LPR (License Plate Recognition) machines.
Configure and fine-tune the overall system (PGS and PMS)
Able to provide technical advices to the partners for system integration and API development
Conduct site surveys
Help design and provide system schematics and drawings to the customer and partners
Common Tasks:

Provide partner/customer enablement services
Provide 2ndlevel support to the customers and partners on Nexpa Products and manage issue escalations– interfacing with the HQ R&D and support teams (in S. Korea)
Participate in various workshops and exhibitions
Develop product and solution presentation materials
Must be able to travel overseas - sometimes with short notice– 20-40%

Skill Requirements:

Knowledge in Image/Video Processing – encoder, analog/IP camera architecture, OCR (understanding how it works) and codecs
Optical and photo processing – view of angle, IR, shutter, gain, gamma, etc is a plus
CCTV systems and understanding video analytics is a plus
DB management installation and setup
One of the following working experiences:
Web programming skills
Mobile app development (android or ios),
Java/C/C++ programming (UNIX/Linux/Windows)
Networking Skills –provide network designs and recommendations to the customers and partners with Cisco System
Prefer SG Citizen or PR with no travel restrictions
Fluent in English and Chinese language is a plus
