Initial assignments will usually be part of a project team in the first instance and the successful candidate will be required to participate fully in the team environment. Guidance on standards and common practices will be given by the other more senior team members as well as the Professional Services Manager. Learning the business, the tools used and the methods employed will be the focus for the first three to six months. More responsibilities will be assigned as confidence is gained and ability is demonstrated. A large portion of the company’s workload is structured into projects, usually subdivided into phases. The Project Manager or Project Leader (often in conjunction with the Professional Services Manager) will define the objectives, scope, overall budget, project tasks and timetable. Assignment of project tasks will be made and the MPSG will be allocated tasks fitting his/her experience level, aptitude and ability. Reports to Professional Services Manager Role & Responsibilities: System Integration. Application Development. Exposure to PDA applications. Documentation of business requirements. System testing and implementation (both software and hardware/network components). Performance monitoring, post implementation audit, system maintenance, enhancements and extensions of sales and marketing systems. Project management of projects undertaken by the company. Client dealings and exposure.
