Senior Marketing Associate – Korea, APAC Marketing

Role Overview: 

Preqin, the leading provider of data, insights and solutions for alternative assets professionals, has an opening in its Singapore, Japan or Hong Kong office for an experienced candidate to join the team as Senior Associate, Asia Pacific Marketing, reporting to the Head of APAC Marketing. This role will execute marketing campaigns that drive growth and brand awareness in China, Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea and Australia – with a special focus on Korea market.  

 

Roles and Responsibilities:  

  • Partner with regional sales and global teams to create and execute content strategy for our thought-leadership campaigns and products. Ensure contents are translated, where necessary 
  • Develop sales enablement materials, such as brochures and pitch decks, and ensure they are disseminated to the sales teams 
  • Execute integrated lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, including email, AdWords, social media, web and paid content placements 
  • Support regional public relations outreach by responding to incoming press requests, translating and sharing press releases 
  • Manage partnerships with industry influencers, including trade associations and academic institutions 
  • Execute our regional events strategy, including but not limited to negotiating contracts and managing logistics for tradeshows and Preqin-hosted events, both online and offline 
  • Grow our regional social media presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and more where required 
  • Execute email marketing campaigns from conceptualization to post-campaign reporting and analysis 
  • Develop regional analytics reports to analyze and communicate marketing effectiveness 

  

Key Requirements for this Role:  

  • 3 to 4+ years of experience as a B2B marketer focused on driving growth and increasing brand awareness in Korea  
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a field such as marketing, communications, journalism, business or finance, or relevant industry experience  
  • An entrepreneurial team player with an ability to collaborate across geographies  
  • Bilingual in both English and Korean. Strong writing, communication and editing skills with native/near native proficiency in both languages is a must. 
  • Someone with good aptitude and willingness to learn  

 

Desirable Requirements: 

  • Experience in B2B digital marketing in Korea, including some if not all: email marketing, marketing automation, Salesforce, video creation, AdWords, HubSpot, Pardot, social media (ie NaverKakaoTalkand web channels  
  • Experiences in Korean media outreach in financial industry is a plus  

 

Covid 19 note  

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Preqin has closed its offices and moved staff to work from home. Our primary goals are to ensure the safety of our employees, and to keep providing our clients with the best-in-class support they have come to expect from us. However, we have not slowed our recruitment activity due to the outbreak, and have adopted a remote interviewing, onboarding and training process. Our growth plans have not stopped, and we anticipate onboarding a significant number of staff in the coming months.
