19세기 부터 시계를 만들기 시작하여 올해로 175년회를 맞았습니다. 예거루꿀뜨의 창시자인 앙또앙 루꿀뜨의 워크샵인 발레듀주(스위스에 위치해있습니다.)에서 1000명이 넘는 직원들이 40개의 전문분야에서 최고의 기술력으로 시계사업분야에서는 혁신적이고 창조적인 브랜드 입니다.
지난해, 스위스 발레듀주엔 Jaeger-LeCoultre 박물관을 오픈했으며, 2,000명이 넘는방문객이 다녀갔습니다.
이번 싱가폴은 세계최초로 Watch Making 박람회를 열며, 쿠알라룸프,프랑스, 독일, 중국과 함께 합니다.행사기간동안,전문 시계제조공이 시계가 어떻게 설계되어지고, 만들어지는 보여드립니다.
이번행사는 평생에 있어서 소중한 경험이 될것이며, 전세계에서 최초로 열어지는 박람회가 될것입니다.
행사기간은 7월17일부터 22일까지이며, 오차드 니안시티 시티프라자입니다.

The Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates 175 years of watchmaking culture and innovation
A major player in watchmaking history since the 19th century, Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates 175 years of continuous development around its founder, Antoine Le Coultres original workshop in the Vallee de Joux, in Switzerland. Over the past 175 years, Jaeger-LeCoultres policy of innovation has created and produced over 1000 different calibres and filed more than 300 patents. The Grand Maison has a number of world firsts to its credit, along with superlative achievements and legendary watches such as the Reverso, the Duoplan, the Memovox, the Polaris, the Gyrotourbillon 1, as well as the perpetual Atmos clock which is also celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year.
Today, over 1000 people work within the Manufacture in 40 different professions where they master the skills and expertise required to make this brand one of the most innovative in the watch industry, and the reference in fine watchmaking. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Heritage Gallery was opened last year to enforce the discovery of watchmaking at the Manufacture. In the last 15 years, the Manufacture has opened its doors to more than 2,000 visitors. This watchmaking week will commemorate Jaeger-LeCoultres 175th Anniversary with the introduction of some truly exceptional historical and current timepieces, exclusive exhibitions, watchmaking classes, conferences and meetings with the craftsmen.
Singapore will be the first country to present the watchmaking exhibition devoted to the roots of the Manufacture, followed by Kuala Lumpur, France, Germany and China. The key sections include a 175th Anniversary Heritage Area, Artscraftsmanship Area, Culture of Complications Area and an exhibition area of Atmos clocks. The 175th Anniversary Heritage area will feature a spectacular display of historical timpieces as well as the story of the Manufature and the brand’s founders. A Master Watchmaker and a Master Craftsman will be present to demonstrate how a timepiece is created and a lounge area will be conceptualized with one of the most amazing innovative icons in the history of timekeeping, the Atmos clock.
This event offers watch aficionados and enthusiasts alike with an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience watchmaking by a true Manufacture. Be one of the first in the world to experience the masterpieces of Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre this 17-22 July 2008 at Civic Plaza, Ngee Ann City in Singapore.
